DESCRIPTION:2025 CDC Field Day- July 22nd\nA tour of the CDC’s research areas including UAV demos and stops at the Kernen and Aberdeen research farms. \nTour Highlights \n\nPlant Breeder led tours of all crop kinds\nCereal and Pulse crop pathology\nVisit the Breeder Seed farm\nUAV demos\nDigital plots and equipment\nTour transportation will be provided\nLunch included\n\nDate: Tuesday\, July 22\, 2025\nTime: 9:30 – 3:30pm CST (Doors open at 9am)\nLocation: Kernen Crop Research Farm\n101 Blackley Road Corman Park No. 344\, Saskatoon\, SK S7W 0G2 \nAgenda:\n9:30 AM – 11:30am\nKernan Farm Tour\nWelcome and Overview of the Field Day. The morning session will include demonstrations at CWRS breeding including a UAV demo\, specialty wheat\, durum\, barley and oat\, canaryseed and flax breeding programs. There will also be an overview of the Breeder Seed facility and the facilities specialty equipment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n11;30 AM – 12:00PM\nBoard Buses and Travel to Aberdeen \n\n\n\n\n12:00 PM – 1:00 PM\nLunch \n\n\n\n\n1:00 PM – 1:30 PM\nAberdeen Farm Tour \nPresentations by the cereal pathology program and demonstrations by the digital phenology program include demos of their equipment.\n\n\n\n\n1:30 PM – 1:45 PM\nBoard Buses and Travel to the East Sutherland Farm \n\n\n\n\n1:45 PM – 3:15 PM\nEast Sutherland Farm Tour\nDemonstrations of the pulse crop variety demos as well as the pea\, lentil\, chickpea and soybean breeding programs. \n\n\n\n\n3:15 PM – 3:30 PM\nBoard Buses and travel back to Kernen \n\n\n\n\n\nTickets:
