DESCRIPTION:If you haven’t toured the Canadian Light Source\, it’s a must see – and it’s open for public tours! \n​The CLS is the only synchrotron in Canada and one of the largest scientific infrastructure investments in our country’s history – and it’s right here in Saskatoon!\n​\n​What is a synchrotron?\n​”A synchrotron light source produces extremely bright light by using powerful magnets and radio frequency waves to accelerate electrons to nearly the speed of light.
