DESCRIPTION:Showcase your expertise and research!\nInfographic and Poster Showcase Invitation to Students and Academics \nSubmit your Poster – more information:  \nDeadline to submit your poster: November 1\, 2025 \nThe Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is hosting a scientific poster showcase in conjunction with the 2025 16th annual CFGA conference\, Nov. 18 to 21\, 2025\, in Fredericton\, New Brunswick. \nThe CFGA provides a national voice for all Canadians who produce hay and forage products and for those whose production is dependent upon forage and grassland production. \nThis opportunity is open to eligible research\, English or French\, which may be of interest to CFGA members. Details about submitting a poster or infographic are attached. \nContact the CFGA at info@canadianfga.ca by Nov. 1\, 2025\, to express interest in submitting a poster or infographic for the CFGA’s 16th Annual Conference. \nFull details about the conference can be found on the CFGA website. \nWho: Graduate and undergraduate students and academics involved in agriculture\, science or social science\, with an interest or potential interest in forage and grasslands.\nThe students and academics must have conducted the research or come up with the proposed concept as presented in the poster or infographic. Students are eligible to submit for 12 months after the month of graduation. Research should have been conducted over the past year on forages and grasslands.\nHaven’t completed your research? That’s ok\, tell us about your research concept. \nWhat: A poster and infographic showcase at the 15th annual Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) 2025 conference in Fredericton\, New Brunswick\, Nov. 18 to 21\, 2025. The conference will include activities where students and academics can connect with government and academic scientists and extension personnel. SUMMARY:Assiniboine College - 10-week course - Prairie Trusted Advisor Partnership (TAP)
DESCRIPTION:Overview\n\nThe Canadian Prairies Trusted Advisor Partnership (CP TAP) equips agronomists\, industry leaders\, and other agriculture industry professionals with advanced knowledge in soil health management science and practice. The course is designed to address the unique crop production challenges of the Canadian Prairies. Topics include zone-based management\, intercropping and cover cropping\, fertility management\, weed management\, integrating livestock and grain crop production\, and agronomic consulting. Through an Internet-based peer network\, participants will have access to agronomy expertise long after the course has concluded. \nThe training is Internet-based and provides flexibility to agronomists and others seeking to bolster their skills and knowledge. The course will count towards Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification and provincial agrology licensing requirements. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion to document their training. \nThe training is offered in partnership with Sustainable Food Lab\, Nature United\, and industry partners.
