SUMMARY:SIA - NE Branch Webinar Soil PH presented by Lyle Cowell PAg - Online Event
DESCRIPTION:SIA NE Branch Webinar: Sweet and Sour- Do we care about soil pH? with Lyle Cowell PAg\nDate: Wednesday February 25\, 2026\nTime: 1:00pm\nLocation: Online\nCost: FREE \nReserve a spot\nPresentation: Sweet and Sour – Do we care about soil PH?\nThis webinar will discuss the importance of soil pH to agronomy. Although soil acidity is a relatively minor limiting factor to crop yields in Saskatchewan\, soil pH directly affects nutrient availability\, soil microbial activity and the stability of pesticides in soil. We will also introduce the process of lime application to reduce acidity. \nBiography: Lyle Cowell PAg is the Senior Canadian Agronomist with Nutrien Wholesale and supports the agronomy and sustainability of the N\, P\, K and S fertilizers that are manufactured by Nutrien.
