About the Presenter: Curtis de Gooijer PAg, CCA is the Agronomy Team Lead at Bourgault Industries Ltd. in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. As a Professional Agrologist (PAg) and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA), he helps to lead Bourgault’s 2,500-acre research and commercial farm. Curtis oversees agronomy trials, fertilizer placement studies, and large-scale equipment testing to evaluate how seeding systems perform under real-world conditions. His work integrates producer challenges into Bourgault’s research, helping refine equipment design and agronomic recommendations. Each year, these trials provide valuable insights internally and externally for Bourgault employees, farmers and agronomists on how to maximize the performance of Bourgault equipment.
