This presentation will introduce Irrigation Saskatchewan’s new study examining the quantity and quality of tile drainage effluent under irrigation, and its potential impacts on downstream water users. It will also provide an update on Saskatchewan’s irrigation sector, including recent economic analysis, emerging large-scale irrigation opportunities, and other ongoing research initiatives led by Irrigation Saskatchewan.
