About the Presenters:
Kevin Kristian, Superintendent of Water and Wastewater has been working in Municipal Water and Wastewater for over 25 years. Kevin is an Instrument Technician with a passion for optimizing treatment plants.
Jeff Blanchard AAg, Assistant Director of City Operations has over 20 years spread across contaminated sites and regulatory support for a number of organizations. Jeff’s focus is protecting people and the environment.
About the Event: SIA agrologists will tour North Battleford’s Treatment Plant No.1, a class 2 groundwater treatment plant that is sourcing water from a non-GUDI aquifer adjacent to the North Saskatchewan River. Participants will get an overview of the groundwater well network and an intro into our treatment process. After the tour, participants are invited to a networking event at Armoury Brewing Co., a local North Battleford brewery.
