Presentation: Sweet and Sour – Do we care about soil PH?
This webinar will discuss the importance of soil pH to agronomy. Although soil acidity is a relatively minor limiting factor to crop yields in Saskatchewan, soil pH directly affects nutrient availability, soil microbial activity and the stability of pesticides in soil. We will also introduce the process of lime application to reduce acidity.
