Guest Speaker: Jason Stewart TechAg

Topic: An Introduction to Humic Products, with the focus on Black Earth products. This will include descriptions of where and how they are used, followed up by a discussion about using Humics to assist in revegatation of saline affected soils.

Jason Stewart TechAg has over 25 years of experience working with soils across both the environmental and agricultural sectors. His background includes environmental site assessments, soil classification, and remediation of salt-water and emulsion-contaminated sites, giving him a strong foundation in soil chemistry and disturbance impacts.
He later transitioned into agriculture, applying this environmental expertise to soil fertility management, helping growers interpret soil tests and align nutrient strategies with real-world soil conditions. This dual perspective allows him to effectively bridge environmental soil assessment and practical agronomy.
