Meeting Point – Meet Katie, our Volunteer Coordinator, at the Northeast Swale, We will park on Zary and cross at Fedoruk Road. Please see the meeting point here. We will meet our Resource Management and Horticulture Team.

About this event:  We’re planting a series of wildflowers to ensure that native species in the Swale.

Join us in planting a series of native species in Saskatoon’s Northeast Swale! This will ensure that current and future generations will enjoy the biodiversity in the Swale.

This is an easy way to protect the native species – and it’s a fun job to do while exploring the river valley side by side with our resource management team. 

To ensure you have a great experience, there are a few things we’d like you to know:

  1.   Please register for this event here
  1. We will begin at 5:00 PM and end at 7:00 PM. We are looking forward to seeing you out at the Northeast Swale.
  1.   Upon arrival, check-in with Katie, our Volunteer Coordinator, or Owen, a member of our Resource Management Team.
  1.   This is an outdoor experience – Please dress for the weather and come prepared to be outdoors. Things like comfortable clothes, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat. We’ve got the work gloves and equipment. 
  1.   Bring a full reusable water bottle to carry with you, hydration is key! Unfortunately there are no washrooms on site.
